I CAN (NOT) FORGET, a new collection of works by artist and tattooist Paul Stillen is an exploration of feelings of longing, regret, infatuation and joy. The work is a representation of fractured memories illustrated on paños (Spanish for cloth or handkerchief) a folk art practice that has roots in Latino prison culture which later went on to influence early prison single needle tattooing.
