This NOV 8-9 in New York City, VISUALIZED invites designers and social innovators from around the world to explore the evolution of data communication at its inaugural conference. Focused on the intersection of data, storytelling, and design, VISUALIZED will bring together the world's most innovative data specialists, content strategists and creative visual communicators to deliver insight into crafting data-driven narratives that connect with people and deliver effective impact.
Photographer Tobias Schult was born and raised in Belin, Germany. He recently did an editorial shoot for German actor, screenwriter, film producer and singer Jürgen Vogel for lifestyle magazine, Provocateur.
Le Noir is a series created entertaining the spills and thrills of life, it’s a play on the fast and disposable living, 'here today gone tomorrow'. It’s all about the bold baby. Taking things back to the basics with black ink and ideas. Gio says "It’s really refreshing to work this way, and really frustrating at the same time, it helps capture attention fast and quick with no time for mistakes. The series is my interest in those cold winter nights, depressed grey days and that lavish, rich but sleazy lifestyle we think is cool…is it as appealing as it seems?"
‘ENEMIES’ is a 200 page hardcover intergalactic graphic novel by D.Jaba Mathieu and Sozyone Gonzalez who are two well known graffiti-artists from the European scene. They've been painting and travelling around the world for more than 20 years before moving to LA to focus on this book. Backers from Kickstarter will literally kickstart the production of this beautiful 200 page hardcover!
Interior architect and Furniture designer Kristoffer Sundin graduated at Konstfack university of arts, crafts and design in 2011; and has already been working for clients in the the likes of Publit, Highlights, Beijing 8, Jockum Nordström , Karin Mamma Andersson, Gallery Magnus Karlsson, Bio Rio and Färgfabrikens kafé. Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros, the arts division of the philanthropic organization Fundación Cisneros, recently called upon the digital and design pros at Bluecadet to add an extra dimension of interactivity to a new exhibit at Spain’s National Museum of 20th century art, the Madrid-based Reina Sofía. Bluecadet did more than rise to the challenge, teaming up with museum curators early in the planning process to create a fully integrated experience that could engage museum guests before, during, and after their visit.

Ward Roberts was born in Australia, and after living abroad in Hong Kong for a number of years, he relocated to Melbourne in 1994. Ward graduated from RMIT with a BA in Arts Photography. With what they offer, Inkiostro Bianco effectively converge the uniqueness of the world of painting, the enormous potential of modern software and the printing industry with advanced digital technology.
The Functional Fox graduated with a First Class Honors in Graphic Design & Illustration, and in 2012 got awarded the National Media Museum prize for Creative Ability. He works in a range of styles and software applications and has experience both digitally and traditionally in Graphic Design. His main hobby is collecting design books, he currently owns over 500 and has around 400 magazines. He also collects matchbox labels and various stamps. He creates most of his work using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop but occasionally likes to get inky fingers.
Lilit Hayrapetyan is an art director, designer and 3D artist based in the Los Angeles area. She currently works at Psyop as an Art Director, designer and 3D artist. Lilit's understanding of contemporary visual culture empowers her workflow in different platforms from creative ideas to final production. With 14 years of experience in the industry (via award-winning studios including Psyop and Prologue) it is not surprising for Lilit to have clients in the likes of AT&T, Pansonic, Audi, Mazda under her belt.
Form Follows Function is a collection of interactive experiences. Each experience has its own unique design and functionality. All the experiences are created in HTML5, the site works beautifully on both desktop and tablet. Form Follows Function demonstrates the power of the browser and current technology, while also pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Hiii Typography competition is divided into two sections: Latin and Chinese, and three categories: Typeface, Communication and Experimental. Participants are to upload their works to Hiiibrand.com. Based on the principle of justice and equity, several world-famous judges will select the winners for Grand Prix and Jury Awards. Other awards include Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Awards for each category. The award-winning works will be published by New Graphic, a professional magazine for graphic design. Submission deadline is 31 JUL, 2013.
Tom Briggs is a graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. He graduated with honors from the Ontario College of Art and Design University and received the OCAD Gold Medal for Graphic Design Award in 2011. Not only he has worked for Nike, Moog Music and Red Bull – but he's been busy designing sports magazines namely "King Shit Skateboarding" and "Later".
Online magazine SHIFT presents DOTMOV Festival 2013 aiming to discover talented creators and provide them with an opportunity to show their works. Works submitted from all over the world will be screened throughout the world venues from NOV 2013 (screening schedule will be different depending on the venue). Last year’s total submission was 194 works from 16 countries. In addition to the general category as before, "ELEKINESIS VA" MV category is added in collaboration with the event "Elekinesis" organized by the Sapporo based label "SenSe" which introduces creatives such as music and art this year.
