Kiko Farkas practices what might be called "autoral design". Running Máquina Studio, a small visual research lab, he develops unique products for clients such as Embratur, Unicamp, SESC, CosacNaify, Companhia das Letras, Pão de Açúcar, Pepsico and BMW, among others – thus allowing Kiko to develop a professional reputation internationally. Kiko is a member of AGI - Alliance Graphique Internationale, and co-founder of ADG - Association of Graphic Designers of Brazil.
The editorial work that Máquina Studio produces has been praised in especialized publications as an example of the best Brazilian design. Recognized internationally, Kiko takes part in juries and gives lectures and exhibitions worldwide. In 2010 made a poster exhibition at the Mariantonia USP center, and launched his book "Cartazes Musicais / Musical Posters" by Cosacnaify.
