FOREST is the Brooklyn, New York based studio of Joel Speasmaker and pursues graphic design in the form of art direction, editions & publishing, branding, web design & development, various curatorial projects, and other stuff. Joel founded and published The Dramamagazine in 2000, while curating related exhibitions and running The Drama Store until 2007. He has served as art director for Anthem magazine and was comics editor for Swindle. Currently he is art directing HOWLER magazine – a beautiful printed magazine about football (soccer).
