PLANT 4, Clipsal Factory Site, Cnr Park Tce & Third St, Bowden

MONO- is a visually dynamic performance installation, drawing on themes of horror, tragedy and comedy inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's Berenice. At the outset, the audience is released into ‘Plant 4’ of the now defunct Clipsal Factory site in Bowden to experience a thrashing of surreal vignettes saturated in primary colours, intended to shock and tantalise the crowd into a hypnotic frenzy. MONO- is the first instalment of a four-performance cycle designed to represent the psychosis of singular obsession as we see in Berenice.
