MOLD Magazine will be the first print magazine about the future of food. After three years and over 400 stories about food and design, MOLD is excited to work in a new medium for our investigations into how design can shape the way we eat and drink in the future.
Today brings a unique opportunity to define how we eat and drink tomorrow. With a torrent of scientific and technological advances, design is needed to distill these ideas into products that are elegant, intelligent and useful. A print magazine allows us to explore these myriad possibilities. Issue 01 will cover everything from kimchi philosophy to natural wine, sewer robots to Japanese toilets, synthetic biology to fungal futures and how these ideas might help us feed a hungry planet.
