Forest is the Los Angeles, California based studio of Joel Speasmaker and pursues graphic design in the form of art direction, editions & publishing, branding, web design & development, various curatorial projects, and other creative stuff. Joel founded and published 'The Drama' magazine; operated the 'The Drama Store'; co-founded 'Beginnings—' gallery; served as art director for 'Anthem' magazine, comics editor for 'Swindle', co-creative director for 'Spacebomb Records', and creative director for 'Howler' magazine.
