'A New York Graphic Novel' by Tommy Penton — 英國 倫敦
London based artist Tommy Penton is best known for his strong fluid line work. His previous projects range from a series of six by two metre large canvas paintings for corporate clients to his graphic novel Tate to Tate, published by Random House, which depicts 'An illustrated walk along the South Bank' in his fresh and humorous style. In 2012 Tommy spent six months in New York City researching work for this graphic novel. The 35-40 panoramic street drawings link a walk from 5th Avenue & 110 Street in Harlem down to the Statue of Liberty just offshore from the most southerly tip of Manhattan. The book is set as a dark comedy following a lost soul strolling through the city.
